Q: How do I order a report?
A: Click on the 'Order Report' button at the bottom of this webpage.
Q: How much do reports cost?
A: You can select what info you want in your report when you check out, but reports are in the $30 range.
Q: What kinds of reports do you have?
A: Currently, we offer the Flood Risk Report or the Complete report. The Flood Risk report provides information on the flood and wet basement risk of the property, while the Complete report includes the info from the Flood Risk Report plus a search on nearby emergency services, development applications in the area, and building permits on the property. Note that the report type may vary by Municipality as we are currently updating the system to expand coverage of the Complete report.
Q: Can I see a sample report?
A: Yes, a sample report is available from us. Please contact us and we'll send you a sample report.
Q: Where are reports available?
A: Reports are currently available within the Region of Waterloo (Ontario), but we are working to expand that imminently. If you would like a report outside of that jurisdiction, you can Contact Us and we may be able to provide some information to you before the reports are publicly available.
Q: Where does your report information come from?
A: We collect much of our information from publicly available sources. We also obtain proprietary data from specialized companies directly, such as our flood risk layer.
Q: Who is Scouti?
A: We are a startup based on Kitchener, Ontario. Our team includes engineers, planners, data analysts and experienced home buyers who would have loved to have access to the info that Scouti provides once upon a time.
